Brow Lift, Forehead Lift (Endoscopic)
Drooping and Sagging
Overview
- Eliminates drooping, sagging, or wrinkled brow lines
- Endoscopicly, minimally invasive procedure
- Recovery: Generally a week or so
Who is a Good Candidate?
Houston Area residents interested in a brow lift will be excited to know that the surgery can accomplish a number of different things. You may be a great candidate for a brow lift if you are experiencing the following:
- Eyelids that are currently sagging because of age or genetics can be lifted and put back in a youthful position. Sagging often creates a constantly mad or fatigued look.
- Deep horizontal creases across the forehead which can create an aged look. Brow lifts remove these creases and “lift” your forehead area up in order to tighten it.
Brow lifts can also remove those pesky vertical frown lines that crop up between the eyebrows and across the top of the nose.

The Procedure
Dr. Polsen performs his brow lifts endoscopicly, meaning they are performed by making several tiny incisions, through which Dr. Polsen can insert a tiny endoscope – a long, thin tube which usually has a camera attached to the tip. Because brow lifts are so delicate, most of the time general anesthesia is required, but this is not always the case. Injectable fillers are also commonly used during a brow lift to complete your youthful transformation. Dr. Polsen will make appropriate suggestions based on your specific case.
Recovery
Endoscopic surgery, like Dr. Polsen’s brow lifts, typically take less time than a traditional, more invasive brow lift procedure. You should be able to return to your normal activities after about a week of recovery. Dr. Polsen will provide you clear instructions on how to take care of yourself during the healing process in order to have optimal results. Dr. Polsen’s Houston brow lift patients often comment on how great they look and how great they feel after these procedures.
